Home on the range
Three years ago, while Ashley and Phil where pregnant with their son Hatcher, they took a chance and decided to leave everything they knew behind and start their homesteading life outside of Deer Lodge, Montana.
They had a dream, and they made it happen. And their "I do's" were no different. Phil, Ashley, and little Hatcher left the goats and chickens behind for a few days, and made the trip up to the Flathead Valley to unwind, go on some family adventures, and of course, get married!
Renting a little cabin at the Abbot Valley Homestead, these two said "I do" in an open meadow, where a sliver of sun poked out of the grey skies just for them. Passing their dapper (and a little fussy) Hatcher back and forth, Ashley and Phil were the complete embodiment of what a great marriage is: mutual adoration, attention, and patience.
We had so much fun walking around the homestead with this sweet family, capturing the connection they share. On our way out, Mother Nature blessed us with a beautiful rainbow, which we thought was the perfect omen for their new life as the Brown family.
We wish you all the best, Phil and Ashley!
