Family & a 50th Anniversary!
What an amazing place to celebrate my parents 50th Anniversary and a family reunion! We spent the 4th in Madison Wisconsin with friends, then went to my cousin Kira's farm outside of Mount Horeb. The farm is amazing! Such beautiful land and Kira is so creative and fun and had activities scheduled and fun for everyone. Since we can't be together for any of the holidays, we celebrated my parents 50th, Easter, Christmas in July & 3 high school graduations! Also, a few strong family members helped build a deck on the farm while a few other members went and toured the New Glarus Brewery... I won't say who did what! Ha. Guilty of the latter. (oh... and on the farm they did a human sized foosball court- serious fun! A hit for sure!)It was long overdue as the last one we had 3 years ago was so much fun and their is a great bond between the cousins and second cousins.
The night before we went out to the farm, my sister and I took my parents out to dinner then a trip down memory lane in Middleton, where they were married 50 years earlier. Really makes you realize how fast time goes by but also so grateful for such loving and ADORABLE parents! (and as you will see from the photos, a damn adorable extended family!)
Here's a bit of our trip from my eye and camera... and Keith even took over camera and got a few priceless shots of Ruby and I.
Keith took over my camera for these next few shots... and he's got an eye. I'm thankful when he does this. And it helps that he's GOOD!
